WHAT A TRIP
My mom took me all over the world.
We lived in America, the Netherlands and then Bali and Thailand as a kid.
She took us back to Europe every summer and we would go camping in Prague or on a last minute road trip through Germany.
My mom would also take us on a yearly camping trip to Yosemite.
I remember hanging our clothes on the line and being bribed to hike all the way up Bridalveil Falls. I remember sinking in the air mattress and making sandwiches in the back of my mom's VW van.
I’m so thankful for all the amazing memories my mom gave me and all the experiences she shared with me. She is truly a free spirit.
First image of me when I was 10 at Buffalo Bills Wild West in LA it’s crazy to think I already was dreaming of living in America at this point and now I have a whole little family here. My mom is always so much and always organises the most fun trips - me and her are both virgos and soooo similar she knows exactly what I love to do, and eat haha
Second image is my first trip to a different continent and we are riding ponies on the beach in Tunisia I’m about 5 here and I have always loved animals and me and my mom would always love finding time to go on horse rides in different places I used to want to have a horse of my own but now I’m a mommy myself I think my baby and business are enough work right now!
My mother saved up and took my sister and I to Seoul when I was 11. After meeting her sister and cousins for the first time we took a trip to Jeju Island. That’s where this photo was taken. It was a beautiful place, and a very special trip. And I can’t wait to show my kids where their family is from. History keeps us connected and it’s important to pass that on to the next generation.

My first, my best, and most memorable vacation with my mom was when she surprised my little sister and I with a trip to Disney World for my 9th birthday! I have no clue how she made it happen til this day - she was working 2 jobs and in nursing school - but my mom always made sure we were taken care of no matter what.
I remember on the flight (my first!) she somehow got the plane to sing me HBD & after we landed, the pilots gave us a tour of the cockpit - and that’s really how the rest of those vacay days went - My mom making everything magical somehow with her mama superpowers just to see us smile
Every summer we go to our family’s house in Minnesota for some lake time. My mom is the best boat driver for waterskiing, wake boarding and can even whip you around on a tube. It’s such a peaceful and connected time where we cook, play cards, take naps and long walks. I feel so lucky to have this tradition in our family and the opportunity to spend time with all the amazing women in my life.
We used go to Barbados in the summers and go sailing and fishing, pick coconuts and cut them open to drink on the beach.
My mom was always so tan, those were the days before sunscreen so by the end of the day we’d check to see how tan our feet were against the white sand, and then we’d know we had a good day!
My mom has always loved being adventurous. She's an individual who feels most alive when channeling her adventurous side. Trips in particular bring out a really beautiful energy in her and I remember looking forward to that so much as a kid. When she was a child, my mom never experienced snow. I remember when I was about 4 years old, we visited Big Bear with her and her aunties several times and everyone channeled their inner child. There was always a snow fight and my mom usually began the fights and she was the last to finish playing around in the snow. This image is a picture of my mom and I at the end of a very fulfilling snow day.
