MOTHER believes in being part of something greater than itself and strives to make a difference through its collaborations. Our motto, “MOTHER Loves You,” is used to communicate acceptance, unity and equality. MOTHER has a commitment to support causes, charities and non-profit organizations that are driving positive change in the world.
CHARITABLE INITIATIVES
We have supported causes that have been close to our hearts and part of positive change we want to see in the world:
Love Your Other – A gender-neutral capsule dedicated to the freedom of being who you are, in the spirit of celebrating differences without judgment or labels. A portion of the proceeds from the collection benefited Self-Evident Truths and its work for LGBTQ+ visibility.
Kind Campaign – We teamed up with Kind Campaign, an internationally recognized non-profit organization that brings awareness and healing to the negative effects of girl-against-girl bullying in schools.
I am a voter. – A campaign geared towards increasing voter registration and turnout in the 2020 presidential election. The aim was to create a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement by unifying around a central truth: democracy works best when we all participate.
Earlier this year, MOTHER was devastated to learn about the loss of our first retail store in the Pacific Palisades fire. Our team had poured their hearts into that project for the past year. We rallied to support our community—Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, Sylmar and many other surrounding areas—sending clothing to those affected by the fires and making cash donations to the L.A. Fire Department Foundation, Flintridge Center’s Dena Fire Relief Fund and World Central Kitchen.
