MOTHER co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding joined La DoubleJ’s JJ Martin in welcoming an eclectic mix of creatives, models and tastemakers to the historic venue, which was decorated with 70s-inspired archival prints from the collection. DJ Mary Charteris kept the vibes high with a groovy set blending retro Italian disco and French pop, while guests sipped California-inspired tequila cocktails adorned with Ciao Mamma! ice cubes. Fresh flower bouquets in La DoubleJ vases, from the brand’s celebrated houseware line, lined the walls, and custom napkins and decals reflected each brand’s passion for detail. As the night unfolded, guests including Joan Smalls, Dianna Agron and Lena Mahfouf mingled on the greenery-filled terrace, later posing in front of the Italian fountain while draped in designs from the collaboration. The evening felt like a love letter between Milan and Los Angeles—a celebration of feminine energy, vibrant prints and cross-generational charm. Because when California cool meets Italian flair, the tomato never falls far from the vine.
