MOTHER co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding brought a little piece of California to Paris Fashion Week, transforming Merci's iconic atrium into an All-American baseball field to celebrate the launch of their Hail Mary collaboration. Drawing from vintage sportswear and prep classics, the exclusive 11-piece capsule blends athletic graphics with feminine flourishes like worn-in textures, nostalgic color palettes and delicate embroidery. Classic Americana meets Parisian ease.
Complete with bleachers, a locker room, a "wall of fame" and a "MOTHER Class of 2026" photo wall, the immersive pop-up invited visitors to step onto the field and invent their own victory dance. Even Merci's iconic red car put on its game face, parked on the grass and adorned with Hail Mary stickers. Roller girls glided through the space as DJ Mei Kwok, who flew in from Los Angeles, spun dance music that called in the California energy. Friends of the brand, such as Kelly Rutherford and Poppy Delevingne, posed for photos while guests fueled up on game-day classics — we're talkin' burgers, fries and donuts. A home run all around.
