After years of styling everyone from Selena Gomez and Miranda Kerr to Paris Jackson, Poppy Delevingne and Alessandra Ambrosio, Bartoli turned that expertise toward creating ÉTERNE, her line of elevated essentials born from an obsession with fit, fabric and the pieces women reach for again and again.

On fashion and style growing up:

I think it was always there because my mom instilled it in us from such a young age. We practically lived at swap meets like the Rose Bowl every weekend. It wasn't optional—that was simply what we did.

On watching Los Angeles change:

It's honestly a little sad. As I've gotten older, I don't really have FOMO anymore, but when I drive around and see so many of our favorite places gone, it makes me nostalgic. The city feels very different now.

Favorite era of L.A.:

Probably when I was 15, 16 and 17 and first going out. Everything felt new and exciting because it wasn't allowed. Those were definitely my wild teenage years.

Life before social media:

It was the best. I had a Nokia phone that played Snake and could barely send a text message. Social media changed everything. Nothing feels quite as organic anymore.

How did you get into styling?

I needed a job to pay for rent, health insurance and my car, so I started working at Curve. Over time I became a buyer alongside Nevena, traveling to Paris and New York to buy collections. At the same time, I began styling clients and eventually actresses and models on the side. What started as a weekend hustle gradually became a full-time career.

How did styling prepare you to start ÉTERNE?

Styling trained my eye. Fitting clothes on different women taught me what truly works on a body versus what simply looks good on a hanger. It gave me a deep appreciation for proportion, fabric and feel, and ultimately inspired me to create pieces women genuinely want to live in.

How did you approach basics differently?

I never set out to reinvent basics—I wanted to perfect them. It began with fabric and an obsession with creating pieces that felt incredible, held their shape and aged beautifully. Every style had to pass one test: would I wear it constantly?

How has ÉTERNE evolved?

The growth has been very organic. We began with core essentials and have gradually expanded into denim, swim and ready-to-wear, while staying true to the original vision of timeless, effortless pieces.

Design inspirations:

I'm very inspired by the '90s and its understated approach to dressing. I also collect vintage—especially old Levi's and classic menswear—and I'm always drawn to pieces that feel timeless rather than trend-driven.

Go-to outfit:

My style really falls into two worlds. One is vintage-inspired: Levi's, a white baby tee, a vintage jacket and Western boots. The other is more rock-and-roll—backless black dresses, leather, python and all things '90s.

How do you want women to feel wearing ÉTERNE?

Comfortable, confident and completely themselves. Nothing should feel forced or overdone—it should feel effortless.

When do you feel most at peace?

At home in Malibu with my family, or anywhere by the ocean. That's where I reset.

Best advice your mother gave you:

Always trust your instincts. They're usually right. My mom also always used to say, "Be careful who you marry." At the time, I thought it was such a funny thing to tell a child, but as I've gotten older, I've realized how right she was. It's one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful partner and father to my son, which makes that advice resonate even more today.

Favorite curse word:

Putain. Whenever I'm really worked up, I automatically switch to French. It just comes out.
