MOTHER and Mother Tongue magazine celebrated the launch of the Mother Knows Best campaign with a cocktail party at Mars speakeasy in Los Angeles. Actors, models and creatives turned out to support the campaign advocating for reproductive rights and gun control. The crowd enjoyed cocktails and DJ Deja Monet kept everyone dancing, including campaign stars Elise Peterson, Faith Blakeney, Paula James-Martinez and Rumer Willis. Ahead of an intimate performance by Rainsford, founders Melissa Goldstein and Lela Becker took to the stage to remind guests of the important issues at stake this election year and invited them to spread the “Mother Knows Best” message, with help from the statement-making campaign cap and socks, all which were gifted to attendees that evening.
