On a brisk November evening in Brooklyn, MOTHER celebrated the launch of our Ivy League Cowboy collection with a rip-roarin’ event that blended country grit with city sophistication. Held at Desert 5 Spot, the New York outpost of L.A.’s iconic saloon, the evening featured a surprise acoustic performer who mesmerized the crowd with his captivating vocals while donning pieces from the collection. MOTHER’s favorite NYC creatives explored the newly opened saloon space, posing for photos in the Dolly Parton-themed room. The crowd danced as DJ Mei Kwok played a mix of vintage country anthems and timeless 80s hits, and models Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Candice Huffine took to the dance floor with stylists Brie Welch and Jaime Kay Waxman. After tequila shots were served, many took turns riding the venue’s mechanical bull, Betsy, including singer Scout LaRue Willis and designer Presley Oldham. Mixing Ivy League prep with country ruggedness, the stylish crowd brought the new collection to life in the ultimate western saloon. And, as always, music remained at the heart of MOTHER’s creative narrative.
